With modern presses and precise tools Röchling Permali Composites produces the most varied FRP components and pressed parts from BMC and SMC polyester products. The Permaglas^® product range is extended by special components processed from moulding powder based on epoxide resin. Permaglas^® compression moulded parts are used in the following areas: • Electrical industry • Machine building industry • Transport industry • Lighting • Office equipment

Permaglas^® Insulators are produced by compression moulding of a glass-resin polyester without the use of any halogens. The precise external shape of the insulators exactly defines the creep paths. The plane side allows an easy assembly (Series P). All metal inserts are anticorrosive by thermal treatment. Their shape contributes to the superior mechanical properties of the insulators. The inside and outside threats of the inserts are designed according to the ISO standard. Inserts made of brass or copper-aluminium can be used for special applications. The basic materials of Permaglas^® insulators enable their use even in a high moisture environment. For applications in dusty atmosphere we offer insulators with extended creep paths. Permaglas^® insulators are resistant to large variations of temperatures (range of application: -40 up to +130°C). Defined properties may depend on the temperature.
