Durostone®
   
 

Also known as Permaglas® the heavy-duty glass fibre reinforced plastic Durostone® offers extreme
strength and excellent electrical, thermal and chemical properties. Durostone® is manufactured
using Polyester, Vinylester, Epoxid- and modified Epoxy resins combined with glass fibre mats,
glass fabrics and rovings. Durostone® pressed sheets meet the requirements of the
EN 60893 standard.
 
Durostone® is especially well-suited for the use in generator construction, switchgear,
chemicals processing equipment and transportation systems. Special grades have also been
developed for the PCB assembly industry for use as carriers in the wave solder and SMT processes
including lead free soldering.
